Overall, it’s been an on and off week for me. Luckily, my husband has learned to step his game up! I appreciated earlier in the week that when I felt weak and already was cooking and cleaning, he decided to do my laundry for me. But today, when I left work I had an AWFUL headache. It was borderline migraine and the bright office lights and computer screen hadn’t helped any!! I couldn’t wait to just relax my eyes. On our way back to home sweet home, he took it upon himself to offer to cook dinner. He proceeded to tell me “it should be like that.” Meaning as partners, if I couldn’t finish something, he would be there to follow through. Who’s guy said that?? Mine!

Above is the the meal my hubby prepared – grilled chicken, brown rice, and steamed broccoli. The smell trickled up my nasal passages…mmm. The visual presentation on the plate was pretty nice too. Then, I took a bite. Not only was it was healthy, it delicious too! Extra brownie points for him!!! Everything was great (and he knows I’m a big critic). At this rate he may have a blog…LOL. Heck, he came up with the name for mine! I know Food Network has the Neelys, but they need to look out for this tag team!
